Hi, my name is Stella and I am a functional analyst.

But who is a functional analyst ?

A functional analyst is a business analyst with an information technology (IT) background, so in a nutshell I am an IT Business Analyst.

So how did I get into this profession ?

Well, I have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a master’s degree in Business Administration and numerous IT certifications including a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Business Process Master (BPM) and ITIL.

But like most people I know, I stumbled into the world of business analysis and as the years have passed my knowledge of business analysis and project management has grown.

I would love to say that I am an extremely knowledgeable business analyst but as with most things in life, I keep learning new things everyday.

So I hope you would join me on this journey through the beautiful and often surprising world of business analysis.
